This is THE place to start if you have never tried line dancing before.
Members are encouraged to learn the Novice level
dances and, when they feel comfortable,
progress to the next Workshop level.
Mastery is not required — just confidence to
keep enjoying the journey.
Various methods to aid the learning process are used, such as
teaching the dances in small segments,
using "cue" and "count",
and providing tips and tricks.
Dances are taught starting with the EASIEST
and through the quarter will progress to learn steps as
you learn a dance.
Additional learning aids, such as cue sheets, instructional videos
and song lists, are easily accessible through the web page.
Members are welcome to join Novice at any time,
with the understanding that they may not yet know
all of the dances taught earlier in the quarter.
Dances are reviewed throughout the session,
and any dances taught earlier will be
repeated in the following quarter.
